Hi, I’m Nicola, the Nic in HandKnics!

I started HandKnics in 2015 as an outlet for all my knitting. I love the creativity that comes with designing and making baby clothes - you really can make them bright and fun!

My favourite things to make are vintage inspired due to their construction methods and style. Everyone looks so glamorous in vintage style (even wee ones).

I am based in East Lothian, Scotland and my studio is often in my garden, when the Scottish weather permits! I frequently use the colours of plants and flowers growing in my garden as inspiration for my designs.
